Avie Records is a top-quality classical music label that operates with a particular awareness of the artists’ own interests. It was launched in 2002 by industry veterans Simon Foster and Melanne Mueller. Artists include Rachel Barton Pine, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Trevor Pinnock and the European Brandenburg Ensemble, Douglas Boyd and the Manchester Camerata, and Christopher Hogwood.
